Unlikeness: High School and College Life

During High School times, we usually wear our school uniform every regular school days. The High School tolerates the proper haircut of male students. Twenty-five pesos is much enough already as a pocket money. It is still very much alright to obusely bring packed lunch together with the classmates. Even though still semestral type of schedules, you will have the same set of teachers; yet the school administrator supervised the school skeds which is usually and regularly starting early at tiry 7 am to 12 noon for morning session and 12 noon to 6 pm for afternoon session, and sometimes 7 am to 6 pm during whole day class with the following compulsory subjects. Fun exceeds than seriousness of studies that shows being immaturity. You cannot always rectify the mistakes of the teachers that is spoon-feeding type of teaching. I still have little knowledge in researching and making thesis of papers. I'm not aware of other schoolmates that I only regard those who are my classmates and I don't care about love thing. But some things change in College, nowadays we have already the freedom of style to wear anything we like in school and even wearing only shirt with ordinary short and slippers or sandals. You have also the freedom of hairstyle. Your pocket money should be doubled or much better tripled to that of High School times. Though I sometimes often bring packed lunch, I keep my position hiding my lunch from them because embarrassing to other fellow students already. Every semester having different set of teachers, You are free to choose the schedules like when you will start to enter the class that you can alternate also your schedules specifically by having a break of an hour after the first class. You have also the power to decide whether you will get all the succeeding subjects required or you will not take other subjects for you as long as you have the maximum load. You are more like mature in all doings and much more serious that you can think already of your future and family standard. You have the authority to object the teachers, sometimes it is more likely to have self-tutorial exploring yourself, you can speak or express your wild ideas and even can protest the misleading or incapacity of the school administration & other political matters.I have already wider extent in process of researching and more skills in making project papers. I have little communication already with other fellow students/people. I'm having some short conversation with them and I have already a love interest. And that I would say that the atmosphere in College is different from High School.

NEOCOLONIALISM
Neocolonialism is a term used by Marxist as well as non-Marxist groups and individuals to describe operations at the international level during the era when colonial empires, created by the European powers from the 16th to the 19th century, are no longer in existence. These critics allege that both nations and corporations have aimed to control other nations through indirect means; that in lieu of direct military-political control, neocolonialist powers employ economic, financial and trade policies to dominate less powerful countries. Those who subscribe to the concept maintain this amounts to a de facto control over targeted nations. Critics of neocolonialism portray the choice to grant or to refuse granting loans, especially by international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, as a decisive form of control. They argue that in order to qualify for these loans, weaker nations are forced to take steps favourable to the financial interests of the IMF/WB, but detrimental to their own economies, increasing rather than alleviating their poverty. Critics of neocolonialism also attempt to demonstrate that investment by multinational corporations enriches few in underdeveloped countries, and causes humanitarian devastation to the populations which inhabit 'neocolonies.' This, it is argued, results in unsustainable development and perpetual underdevelopment; a dependency which cultivates those countries as reservoirs of cheap labor and raw materials, while restricting their access to advanced production techniques to develop their own economies. The term neocolonialism first saw widespread use, particularly in reference to Africa, soon after the post-WWII process of decolonization which followed a struggle by many national independence movements in the colonies. Decolonization is the process by which a colony gains independence from a colonial power, a process opposite to colonization. Decolonization may involve peaceful negotiation and/or violent revolt by the native population. Decolonization in the strict sense is distinct from the break-up of traditional empires, and in modern academic discourse the period of decolonization generally refers to two major waves of independence from European colonial rule: Neocolonialism refers to the new dependency of Latin American nations on Great Britain and the United States, replacing Spain and Portugal in the dominant role. Upon gaining independence, some national leaders and opposition groups argued that their countries were being subjected to a new form of colonialism, waged by the former colonial powers and other developed nations. In Africa, the French played a prominent role in charges of conducting a neocolonialist policy, and that French troops in Africa were often involved in coups resulting in a regime acting in the interests of France but against its country's own interests control by a powerful country of its former colonies by economic pressures. A policy whereby a major power uses economic and political means to perpetuate or extend its influence over underdeveloped nation's or areas: "Strong elements of neocolonialism persist in the economic relations of the rich and poor countries". Denunciations of neocolonialism also became popular with some national independence movements while they were still waging anti-colonial armed struggle. During the 1970s, the Portuguese colonies of Mozambique and Angola, for example, the rhetoric espoused by the Marxist movements FRELIMO and MPLA, which were to eventually assume power upon those nations' independence, rejected both old colonialism and neocolonialism.

Whitegold Saleslady
Saleslady in Whitegold has prepared her face like the dead person at the morgue retouched by an artist. Under her black short straight hair is her face as white as a flour of bread that I criticize her a soul in front of me, even though obusely her arms have only fair complexion. Yet, also because she suddenly appeared to me same with her other co-workers asking what I wanted and salestalking when I was wandering the clothing items sold in the store. She's like a kid playing in the big storehouse because of her blue jumper uniform with white shirt under that makes her so. She and her co-workers have legs wrapped with shiny stockings that are black but more often white, so attractive that most boys would only look thinking it is not that real. And lastly, she has tower of high heeled shoes making her taller and hiding her true petite Filipina height.
Colon
Colon being the oldest street in the Philippines, as I was observing the place at the side of the mall facing the intersection of vehicles such as jeepneys, taxi, cars and trucks, I can see old buildings having surface of the wall messed with dirty little mud, paints are almost fading, and most very old left buildings are made during Spanish times that not so far I can view the old theater there now made a cinema. The windows of the buildings are mostly damaged already, its glass are broken and the panel of the windows is swinging down. Everything I look up to the window , I can detect that there's no people up there and I think to myself that is because those were abandoned. Sidewalk vendors, service workers, stalls of pirated VCDs & DVDs and even caterers are scattered along every side of the busy street making the aisle narrow to pass for the people. Being also the center of several business in Cebu, I can view almost all the institutions, food courts and amusements there like banks, marketing, enterprise, cinemas, pharmacies, bakeries, franchise food area, schools and malls mostly owned by Chinese mestizo Filipinos. So much crowd of people gathering in the place like vendors, businessmen, employees, strangegoers, stroller, part time workers, few foreigners, and also people from provinces carrying his heavy loads of school bags mixed with very dirty beggars asking for alms and retarded "grease" individuals wandering makes it so chaotic. It is nice to room around the place, but because of scattered garbage all over the place, foul odor of thrashes and urines, and very alarming kind of person thinking that he/she might be a snatcher or swindler makes it unpleasant too.
